The Hawaiian Islands
Lush Tropical Vegetation, Crystal Clear Water and White Sand Beaches.
From the moment you step off the plane, you feel the warmth of the island breezes and catch a whiff of the unforgettable aroma of fresh Plumeria that lingers in your thoughts long after your vacation is over. The Hawaiian Islands will cast a spell on you and create a desire for a rapid return to paradise.
Whether it is sprawling beaches, seclusion, rolling waves or the warm tropical sun you're in search of, Hawaii has an island that’s just right for you. From a romantic getaway to a fun-filled family vacation with activities for all ages, the Hawaiian Islands have been fulfilling dreams for decades.
Voted number one Island in the world for 2016. Those who are looking for modern day conveniences, as well as a bit of seclusion and nature, will find it in Maui.
Best for: Good for most travelers and those who like to explore. Nature lovers will enjoy the many waterfalls, hiking trails and championship golf courses.
Referred to as the Big Island, is near twice the size of the other Hawaiian Islands combined. The landscape consists of black lava fields, and green, black, red and white sand beaches, you may think you’re on a different planet.
Best For: Those looking for mega-resorts but not in the middle of a concrete jungle. There is plenty of adventure and things to explore with lots of Polynesian culture on the island.
A lush tropical paradise used as a backdrop for movies and television shows such as Jurassic Park. It is the typical image you get when you think of "Hawaii."
Best For: Family vacations, romantic getaways, and adventure seekers. This is where you go to replenish the soul. You may find you’re the only one on “Secret Beach” if that’s what you’re looking for. There are plenty of food and shopping options but not as populated as Oahu or Maui.
You will find many world-class beaches on Oahu including world famous Waikiki Beach. The island is also home to Honolulu, a very large city with skyscrapers and lots of commerce.
Best for: Great for first-time visitors to Hawaii. It’s similar to being on the mainland in terms of amenities, options for food, shopping, and so on. The island of Oahu is filled with activity but there are plenty of areas on the island offer tranquility and serenity.
Traveler's Tip: If you plan to visit more than one island, we recommend five days on each island to allow enough time to get a general overview and it not seem like all your time is spent in long lines at airports and resort check-in counters.
“Hawaii is still the single most frequent fantasy destination, not because of political stability or conveniences, but because Hawaii seduces the imagination. It's the perfect postcard, no props, no fillers.”
